Delighting families, couples and ice-skating enthusiasts for over twenty-five years, the Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center presented by Hawaiian Airlines opens each winter for nine magical, fun-filled weeks. Get ready to skate under the sun and stars along the beautiful waterfront at the largest outdoor rink in San Francisco.

Open 10AM – 9:30PM, Sunday-Thursday
Open 10PM – 11:30PM, Friday and Saturday
**Open until 11:30PM on December 31

90-minute sessions start at every even hour.

Embarcadero Center is brightening the holidays this year with the 29th Annual Building Lighting Ceremony & Carnival! A perfect event to share with the family, the Building Lighting Ceremony & Carnival will kick off at 4:00pm with a host of fun activities for the kids; including carnival games, face painting, a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, interactive arts and crafts booths, balloon twisters, musical performances, a very special appearance by Mickey Mouse, and more!

At 6:00pm, gather around the Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center Presented by Hawaiian Airlines for live ice skating and musical performances, followed by a sneak peek performance from Disney On Ice presents Frozen Presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt. Then tilt your head to the sky for a dazzling pyrotechnic (fireworks) spectacular, designed to complement the highlight of the evening — the initial lighting of Embarcadero Center’s office towers, with a dramatic illumination of San Francisco’s skyline, featuring 17,000 lights throughout the holiday season.

So bring your kids, your cameras, and your holiday spirit, because the Building Lighting Ceremony & Carnival is the must attend event of the holiday season!

For the first time ever, Santa Claus is making a special trip directly from the North Pole and will be visiting Embarcadero Center. Bring your wish list to meet Santa Claus on select days throughout the holiday season at the Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center in Justin Herman Plaza.
