The Athlete's Foot was founded in 1971 and recently celebrated its 30-year anniversery.
1971 Robert and David Lando develop the concept for The Athlete's Foot - the first athletic footwear specialty store of its kind in the country. The first store opens in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wood Street in February.
