The San Francisco Cable Car is one of San Francisco's defining attractions. Steeped in wonderful history, the San Francisco Cable Car is still a treat to ride and an excellent way to experience the City of San Francisco.

Caltrain can take to and from the Peninsula and San Francisco and all the way to Gilroy. There is all the information you will need on the following web site for Caltrain.

Ferry Travel
There are 3 ferry systems that are used for transportation as well as site seeing and there are two specifically for site seeing. The Golden Gate, Blue & Gold and Baylink ferries offer commuters and others transportation between Sausalito, Larkspur, Tiburon, Alameda, Oakland or Vallejo and San Francisco. They also have other site seeing cruises as well. The Blue & Gold fleet even has a trip to Alcatraz. The Angel Island/Tiburon Ferry is a ferry taking you to Angel Island and back. You have nine days to visit five famous San Francisco attractions once*, PLUS unlimited use of the Cable Cars and Muni transportation in San Francisco for 7 days. You simply present your booklet on your way into each attraction. Your booklet cover works as your MUNI passport.

*Your San Francisco CityPass includes an Option Ticket. You have the option of using ticket #2 at either Legion of Honor OR Academy of Science & Steinhart Aquarium. Once the ticket is used at one location it is not valid for use at the 2nd location.

Note: The Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise is part of the San Francisco CityPass. If you would like to substitute Blue & Gold Fleet's Alacatraz Tour for the San Francisco Bay Cruise (subject to availability) you must purchase your CityPass in advance directly through the Blue & Gold Fleet only.
