The craftsmen at the Cobblers Bench are amazing. Don't get put off by the neighborhood -- Laurel Village is a wasteland of idle, rich, rigorously blonded mothers and their mini-me offspring -- just dodge the Hummer-sized strollers and go. When my beautiful high-heeled boots were on the verge of expiring (I'd practically worn off the heels... they looked as though they'd been thrown into a pack of teething wolf cubs), Zavo brought them back to life, looking even better than when they were new
