Catherine Jane is an established San Francisco designer with a flawless appreciation for fit and fabric who has turned her exceptional talent into rediscovering the art of dressing. After studying at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, Catherine began producing her own line of clothing by appoinment only. In 1993 Catherine Jane opened her first eponymous boutique on 9th Avenue across from the De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park where she began attracting spirited fashion mavens looking for something inspired and chic. Catherine's designs are both fashionable and timeless. On the subject of trends she muses, "Sometimes you find yourself gravitating towards a trend because you see it everywhere and not because it's beautifully composed. Remember, just because a style is 'in' doesn't mean you should be in it."
She dresses her clients for their modern lives-attire for a picnic in the park or the opening of the Ballet.
